Merit Based
  • Basic Academic Qualification

    Candidate must have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C. / CBSE / ICSE or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.

  • Language Requirement

    Must have passed with English as one of the subjects at the 10th standard level.

Science Stream

Merit Based
  • Basic Academic Qualification

    Passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C. or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks Requirement

    Must have secured a minimum of 35% aggregate marks (passing criteria) with Science and Mathematics as subjects in the qualifying exam.

Undergraduate Degree (UG)

Mumbai University Norms
  • Academic Qualification

    Passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2 / H.S.C.) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board or an equivalent recognized board.

  • Stream Requirement

    Students from any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science) are eligible to apply for B.A. or B.Com programs.

B.Sc. (Chemistry)

Mumbai University Norms
  • Academic Qualification

    Passed the H.S.C. (10+2) examination strictly in the Science stream from a recognized board.

Mandatory University Registration

For all Degree College admissions, it is compulsory to complete the online Pre-Enrollment Registration on the University of Mumbai portal and submit the printed copy along with the college admission form.

  • Subject Combination & Marks

    Passed 10+2 (H.S.C.) in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) along with English. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for reserved categories applicable within Maharashtra).

  • Entrance Examination

    A valid, qualifying score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for the current academic year is mandatory.

  • Age Criteria

    The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st of December of the year of admission.

Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)

MHT-CET / CAP Rounds
  • Academic Qualification

    Passed 10+2 (H.S.C.) Science with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB).

  • Minimum Aggregate

    Secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for backward class categories and persons with disabilities belonging to Maharashtra state only) in the above subjects taken together.

  • Entrance Exam

    Obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET or NEET for the respective academic year.

D.Pharm (Diploma)

CAP Merit
  • Academic Qualification

    Passed 10+2 (H.S.C.) examination in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics.

  • Admission Process

    Admissions are conducted primarily on merit based on 12th standard marks through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) dictated by the DTE, Maharashtra.

General Guidelines

Applicable across all institutions

  • Reservation Policy

    Seats are reserved for SC, ST, VJ/NT, OBC, and SBC categories strictly as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra and respective affiliating universities/boards. Valid caste and validity certificates must be produced at the time of admission.

  • Gap Certificate

    If there is a gap in education after the qualifying examination, a gap certificate in the form of a legally executed affidavit on a stamp paper of appropriate value is required.

  • Equivalence Certificate

    Students from boards other than the Maharashtra State Board (for JC/UG) must submit an Eligibility/Equivalence certificate from the respective Board/University during enrollment.
